This co-ed camp accepts individuals from age eight through twenty-one. Dodge Pond has a capacity of fifty individuals and is wheelchair accessible. Both weeks are fully funded by Jefferson and St. Lawrence County Rotary Clubs. Because they are fully funded, the camp is free for each child who attends. Several activities are offered while vacationing at Dodge Pond. Some of the activities include: swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, kickball, basketball, baseball, volleyball, arts and crafts, movies, nature hikes, campfires, skits, scavenger hunts, live music and dancing, karaoke, cake decorating, dance and music therapy, wildlife presentations, and ceramics. Indoor and outdoor group activities are enjoyable to all and are used to develop leadership and fair play. They strive to have all campers and counselors participate in activities in a non-competitive manner with an emphasis on team-building. Participation in all activities is optional. |
